We invite you to the unique Lalka Apartments, located in a historic tenement house at Krakowskie Przedmieście 6 in Lublin. Our apartments take their name from the famous novel “Lalka” by Bolesław Prus, because this building is inextricably linked with the history of the author and his work. Probably here was located the shop that inspired the descriptions in the book.

In the 1830s, the building was bought by Jan Mincel, aka Mintzl, who was the prototype of the spice merchant in Bolesław Prus’s novel entitled Lalka. An outstanding Polish author who lived and studied in Lublin.

Today, the tenement house contains 18 luxurious apartments that combine the elegance of a historic place with modern amenities. Each apartment is fully equipped to provide our guests with maximum comfort and convenience. The kitchens have a dishwasher, induction hob, kettle, fridge, microwave and all necessary utensils. The apartments have air conditioning, and comfortable beds guarantee perfect rest. Additionally, each apartment is equipped with a TV and high-speed Internet, which makes them ideal for both short stays and longer visits.
